Govino Bay Resort is ready to welcome you to Corfu safely, and in absolute accordance to the new health and safety regulations.

Your health is our top priority.

Due to the latest covid-19 alerts, we are taking all appropriate measures to protect our visitors and staff, in accordance with the World Health Organization, the Greek Government, the Greek Ministry of Health and the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels.

Currently, staff is being trained in the new operating rules.

  • Please follow the H.D.M. (Hands-Distance-Mask) Rule.
  • All rooms and common areas are continuously disinfected and cleaned.
  • Hand sanitizers are available in all hotel common areas.
  • Masks are provided free of charge to our guests.
  • Non-residents of the Hotels are not allowed in the premises.
  • We have Collaboration with a doctor who specializes in COVID-19.
  • If you feel unwell during your stay: contact the receptionist or business manager from your room for advice on what to do next.

Check in procedure

At reception area is marked to keep the 1.5-meter distance rule that protects our customers during the check-in procedure or other occasions, such as activities or transfers arrangements. We suggest that all communications within the premises are carried out paperless.

New departure time at 11:00 and check in at 15:00.

Contactless Payments

We recommend doing all your payments via credit cards and contactless, for you to only have to come in touch with your disinfected key from the reception desk.

House keeping

For your safety, we use steam cleaner to disinfect your apartment. In addition, we use fully complied with the international standards cleaning products and the latest antibacterial and antiviral solutions.

The Cleaning Service will be done only upon request. Changes in sheets and towels are also will be made only upon request.

The cleaning staff enters the Hotel rooms to clean only by the absence of our guests.

Maintenance workers entering guests’s rooms, have to wear gloves and a mask.

Bookings & Cancellation

During these challenging times, we have made sure to be fully flexible with our bookings and cancellations policies. Please get in touch with the hotel in case you have booked directly for any matter regarding your reservation.

Before your arrival, you will receive a form with your details (name, passport number, phone number, country, nationality), so when you arrive you will just need to get the room key.

For the purposes of public health protection, the accommodation must keep a record of staff members and all people staying at the hotel – name, nationality, date of arrival and departure, contact details (address, telephone, e-mail) – , so that it is possible to communicate with these people in the case of any COVID-19 incident.

Restaurant

Restaurant staff will be responsible to keep a distance of 2 meters between guest’s tables.

Restaurant staff will ensure that customers will keep the required distances and use disinfectants (at the disinfection station) when entering the restaurant. The breakfast will be served from 08:00 to 10:00 à la carte. The purpose of the measures is to avoid contact of the guests with the food and utensils in the buffet.

The waiter always cleans and disinfects the table and chairs after the departure of our guest using the appropriate equipment.

You could enjoy any meal by reserving your table in advance.

Swimming Pool

The pool chairs are redesigned to keep the proper distance from each other and are disinfected before reuse.
